May 2012

May is usually a special month because of Mother's Day.  In honor of the holiday, I'm running a sale on CASSIDY'S COWBOY for 99 cents.  This is the sixth book in my SEARCH FOR LOVE e-book series.  It is a women's fiction/ranch romance and I hope you enjoy it.  My heroine has kept a secret since childhood that she is dyslexic.  Literacy is important to me, as well as childhood learning problems.  Cassidy finds happiness and I hope that can give everyone hope.

Each month I'm amazed at what can happen in thirty days.  In May, I'll be finishing my editing for my first cozy mystery, tentatively titled KNIFED-EDGED.  I've had so much fun working on this.  I'm still in the process of verifying every detail, as well as polishing my words.  By June 1, I hope to have my mystery website up and running to give you a preview of the first book, as well as my sleuth, Caprice De Luca.

This month I'm also beginning a new series for Harlequin Special Edition--THE MOMMY CLUB.  The first book takes place on a California vineyard.  I can already tell the lovely setting will add sparkle to the characters.  More about this series in the months to come.  And speaking of series, the next book in my REUNION BRIDES series will be released around June 19th.  I'll display my beautiful cover next month for THE CEO'S UNEXPECTED PROPOSAL.  Pre-orders are available on Amazon now.

Spring is in full bloom in Pennsylvania.  The Weigela is blossoming.  In my Iris garden, a new one blooms every few days.  The petunias I raised are begging to be planted outside, but our nights are still a little cool.  I have been using them in planters, though, that I can tuck under my porch at night.  I also planted Caladium.

The tomato garden is almost ready for the many varieties of heirloom tomatoes that I raised from seed.  Marianna's Peace plants are growing strong, as are the Carmellos.  These two did well for me last year.  Anna Russian will produce a heart-shaped tomato.  New varieties this year are Great White Tomato, Ghost Cherry, Big Orange and Chianti Rose.  I hope to plant zucchini and sunflowers soon.

My kitties are saving up their energy to have summer fun.  I caught Ebbie taking a nap and London waking up in the sun.

Prize: A $15 Subway Gift Card and a signed copy of

Use the button on the right to enter the contest.  Please only one entry per e-mail address.  They are sorted.  Contest ends on May 31 at midnight EST.  Winner will be notified by June 15th and will have to e-mail me his/her snail mail address.  If winner does not verify by midnight June 30th, a new winner will be drawn.  THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO US/CANADA WINNERS ONLY.

Good luck.  Moms--have a wonderful Mother's Day!
