WHAT'S NEW???

Happy new year!  I hope it will be a healthy and fulfilling one.
CASSIDY'S COWBOY, Book 6 in my SEARCH FOR LOVE series is a new novella.
Remember Cassidy Sullivan from ALWAYS HER COWBOY? In CASSIDY'S COWBOY, she and her twin sister Lucy embark on a search for their father with Gillian Moore's help.  (For readers unfamiliar with my SEARCH FOR LOVE series, Gillian has a "gift" for finding missing persons.) But in the meantime, a handsome CEO and his daughter come to spend time on Twin Pines Ranch.  Julie's mother abandoned her and both she and her dad, Ben O'Donnell, (foreman Loren's nephew) need to recover and move on.  For now, CASSIDY'S COWBOY is exclusively on Amazon.

The latest news concerns my REUNION BRIDES titles for summer 2012.  THE CEO'S UNEXPECTED PROPOSAL, Dawson and Mikala's romance, is due out in July. Print copies will be available the last week in June but e-book will be available July 1.  Mikala is a music therapist who takes on the challenge of helping Dawson's son recover from trauma.  Old sparks reignite as memories from high school form a bond and a basis for a new romance.  In August, feuding families have a chance for peace in RILEY'S BABY BOY, Book 4 of my REUNION BRIDES series. A former marine, Riley O'Rourke is astonished when high school sweetheart Brenna McDougall turns up on his doorstep with his infant son. Oh, yes, more than talk happened the night of their fifteen year high school reunion!
Another way to learn what I'm doing day to day is chatting with me on Twitter or Facebook. If you "like" my Facebook page, you can post on the wall.  I've also signed up on LibraryThing and Goodreads. I'm learning my way around but I do have my profile filled out on both.  I've joined a couple of groups on Goodreads and I'm looking for a romance group.
Something else that readers might not know about is "liking" and "tagging" books on Amazon. Authors are thrilled when you "like" and check the tags on their book pages. Positive reviews are always welcome, too.
Much more is coming up this year. Stay tuned to the e-zine for news of more releases in 2012-2013.

AROUND THE HOUSE...

This month it's hard to find color in the gardens. I've been browsing through seed catalogs already, deciding what plants and flowers I want to start inside. Petunia seeds can be planted as early as February! I look forward to that and watching them grow. I have heat mats that help.

In our house, we try to make everything kitty safe. So we have a wall Christmas tree they can't reach! We can still put presents underneath.

And speaking of my cats, Ebbie (black) and London (grey tabby), here they are "helping" me wrap and pack.

In the new year when I'm waiting to plant seedlings or look for color outside, I cook and bake. Here is an applesauce bread that I make and use for breakfasts or dessert. You can find the recipe on my blog at Applesauce Bread recipe.  Enjoy!

SPECIAL THIS MONTH!!!

To celebrate the start of the new year, I'm giving away an Amazon gift card for $25 as well as an e-book, ALWAYS HER COWBOY, the prequel to CASSIDY'S COWBOY. I will provide a coupon code for Smashwords or a gift copy from Amazon. Use the button on the right to enter.  This month you will again have an extra chance to win if you leave a comment! If you do, I will add your entry twice and give you double the chance to win.  Please only one entry per email address.  They are sorted. Contest ends on January 31 at midnight EST. Winner will be notified by February 15 EST and will have to email me his/her snail mail address. If winner does not verify by midnight February 28, a new winner will be drawn.  THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO US/CANADA WINNERS ONLY.

Good luck.  Have a wonderful start to the new year.

  1. I loved the pictures you posted. Your kitties are just adorable. So much love in a fairly small package, right? The pansy picture was fabulous. Where else can you find a color like that? Gorgeous! I sure could use a slice of your yummy applesauce bread to go with my coffee this morning. I don't know how you find the time to do all that you do in addition to writing your delicious books! Wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2012. I'm looking forward to reading more of your novels.
